EMCOR UK provides bespoke security solutions across a range of public and commercial properties, servicing more than 100 buildings on a daily basis by utilising 500+ trained security staff members.
Each customer receives a security service that not only reflects their operational and financial requirements, but also complements their corporate culture.
EMCOR UK holds Security Industry Authority (SIA) Approved Contractor Status (ACS) for the provision of security guarding and PSS (CCTV) operations.
Our consistent year-over-year high scoring ranks in the top 5% of security providers, according to the SIA rating system. In addition—and in line with legislative requirement—all EMCOR UK security employees hold the relevant licences for their specific frontline security roles.
Core Security Services
Manned Guarding
Manned guarding includes access control, external patrols, front-of-house reception, visitor control, and search duties. Security personnel are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to any type of building in any location throughout the UK.
Mobile Patrols
EMCOR UK provides mobile security at operational manned and unmanned sites as well as public access and visitor experience sites. Available on a 24-hour basis, security officers perform regular patrols of premises and perimeters, respond to alarms or incidents, lock and/or unlock the premises, and check for fire and flood hazards.
Security and Surveillance
We offer a wide range of security and surveillance systems and bespoke design and installation services for: CCTV systems, access control systems, intruder detection systems, and fire detection systems.
Our dedicated Fire & Security specialists have deep market knowledge and professional links with some of the leading industry experts and key suppliers. One of our key strengths is the ability to provide fully-integrated electronic systems and manned guarding solutions under a single management structure.
Other Security Services
In support of a holistic approach to security, EMCOR UK offers a number of additional services which supplement the provision of a guarding solution:
- Security Solutions. Security programme management, business continuity management systems, systems integration, cultural change and business transformation, intelligence gathering (including online recruitment), counter-terrorism support, integrity solutions, innovative technological security solutions, risk and threat assessments.
- Assurance. Physical, cyber and blended penetration testing, social engineering, surveillance, hostile reconnaissance, auditing, open source vulnerability assessments, forensics, due diligence, screening and vetting, bug sweeping and corporate investigations.

Continuous, Comprehensive Training

All members of our security staff have an annual Personal Performance Plan, a bespoke training and development program, and a reward and recognition scheme—all designed with the objective of creating a motivated, involved workforce demonstrating a ‘one team’ approach to delivering an excellent security service for our customers.
EMCOR UK also has excellent working relationships with key government bodies, such as Counter Terrorism Command (SO15) and enables us to deliver specialist security training across a variety of locations.
