The awards also recognise organisations that have shown commitment to wellbeing and mental health at work.

Our purpose is to create a better world at work and a fundamental part of this is to create working environments that are safe.”

Jonathan Gawthrop, executive director, wellbeing sustainability & assurance at EMCOR UK, said: “To win three International Safety Awards is exceptional and reflects the hard work and commitment of our colleagues to maintain the highest standards of health and safety. “It is our vision at the British Safety Council that no-one should be injured or made ill through their work – anywhere in the world. By sharing the achievements of the winners of these awards, we can inspire other employers everywhere to follow their lead and give workers’ health, safety and wellbeing the priority it rightly deserves.”
