EMCOR UK Awarded International Safety Award

EMCOR UK has won an International Safety Award from the British Safety Council in recognition of its commitment to keeping its workers and workplaces healthy and safe. 

EMCOR UK is one of only 135 organisations globally to be awarded a Distinction in the International Safety Awards 2022 achieving maximum marks against the scoring criteria. 

Now in their 64th year, the International Safety Awards recognise and celebrate organisations from around the world which have demonstrated to the satisfaction of the scheme’s independent judges their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health during the previous calendar year. The awards also acknowledge organisations that have shown commitment to wellbeing and mental health at work.  

In 2022, 549 organisations across 39 countries have been presented with an International Safety Award, spanning a range of sectors including construction, manufacturing, oil, gas, mining, power and utility sectors. 135 organisations were awarded a Distinction, 204 organisations were awarded a Merit and 210 organisations achieved a Pass.
