EMCOR awarded £4.2m contract by Pilkington Group Ltd
EMCOR Facilities Services, the global facilities management company, has been awarded a significant £4.2 million contract by Pilkington Group Ltd to continue to manage its facilities.
EMCOR has maintained and built upon its successful working relationship with Pilkington, the industry leader for flat glass. The new contract will see EMCOR continuing to provide a full range of mechanical, electrical and waste services across seven sites through a combination of self-delivery and management of over 50 specialist subcontractors.
EMCOR consolidated services and reviewed subcontractor contracts in its first year of working with Pilkington saving over half a million pounds. Pilkington has since continued to enjoy further savings as a result of EMCOR's involvement.
The sites serviced range from the prestigious Pilkington head office in St Helens through to critical manufacturing and production locations across the North West and Doncaster. EMCOR will continue to manage and control the collection of waste across six of the seven sites serviced.
