EMCOR Facilities Services Scoops Major Contract For Exciting New Build In Manchester
EMCOR Facilities Services has been awarded a substantial five-year contract, worth in excess of £1.8 million, to provide facilities management services at One Central Park Ltd - a joint venture between Greater Manchester's three universities, as well as MANCAT and Manchester Science Park.
One Central Park will provide an access point for all that further and higher education in Greater Manchester has to offer. Activities embraced by the project will be based around six core areas: MANCAT Learning Centre, New Technology Institute, Research and Graduate Centre, Business Creation Unit, Business Incubator and Manchester Science Park. It will act as an economic catalyst stimulating the creation of jobs, investment and opportunities in the community.
EMCOR Facilities Services will provide a range of facilities management services within the premises to allow the clients to concentrate their efforts on their core activities. The scope of the contract will include the provision of a full range of "hard" and "soft" services along with office moves, cleaning, postal services, reception, document control and energy management.
