EMCOR was able to demonstrate its full commitment to these principles through its involvement in projects undertaken for Defence Estates in East Anglia and Wiltshire under Prime Contracting, which was a forerunner to Procure 21. This experience was exactly in line with the NHS pre-requisites to qualify as a PSCM and EMCOR were first on many Principle Supply Chain Partner’s calling cards when bidding to secure a place on the Framework.

Commenting on the wins, Terry Hewitt, Director of EMCOR Engineering Health, said,"Our network of offices throughout the UK offers NHS Estates and our Principal Supply Chain Partners, a unique service by providing the local expertise and experience of a regional Mechanical and Electrical specialist with access to resources and skills of a major, national company, totally co-ordinated under a bespoke Management Unit."Carillion
