TOTAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SERVICES SCOPE OF WORK
In the first Private Finance Initiative (PFI) linking a number of schools in a single scheme, EMCOR Facilities Services was awarded the contract to provide full facilities management
services across five sites with 1,800 students in Peacehaven, East Sussex.
The scope of hard and soft building servicesand maintenance includes:
- Building fire detection and security systems
- Industrial cleaning services
- Reception
- Mail
- Catering and vending
- Porterage
- Grounds maintenance
- Office equipment
- IT System
- Environmental services
- Technical services
PEACEHAVEN SCHOOLS FACILITIES BACKGROUND
We are responsible for the heating/cooling and lighting systems at the school, as well as providing buildings and grounds maintenance, security, cleaning and on-site catering. A major part of the contract is the design, supply and maintenance of the IT systems for the school. This includes installing hardware, setting up software, providing secure email, internet access and networking for all five schools.
