If you are considering a career in Building Management, Facilities Management, Mechanical & Electrical Services, Asset Management, HVAC services and are over the age of 16 then an apprenticeship with EMCOR UK could provide you with the skills and experience to help get you started
EMCOR’s apprenticeship programme is structured to give you a taste of the modern working environment via hands on experience, class room study and mentoring by dedicated EMCOR personnel over a period of 3 years. During this period you will also earn a salary.
Our apprentice scheme has been developed to ensure you have a dedicated learning programme which gives you the skills and experience to become a fully qualified engineer or technician. You can expect to gain practical experience in the work place whilst studying towards a technical certificate or an NVQ as well as learning Key Skills.
Once you have completed your apprentiship you will have achieved an NVQ and the experience to make a name for yourself within EMCOR. Our dedicated apprenticeship programme has seen many go on to fulfil successful careers within EMCOR, in fact a number of our Senior Managers started their own careers as apprentices within the Company.

All you need to qualify for an apprenticeship with EMCOR is the following
- 2 A-Levels or equivalent at Grade C, or 4 GCSEs at Grade C inclusive of English, Maths and a Science
- A clean driving license
- An awareness of Health & Safety standards
- A willingness to learn and succeed
Apprenticeship Schemes
Trade and Technical Apprenticeships
Through our trades based apprenticeship schemes you can train to become a fully qualified electrician, mechanical technician, plumber or heating and ventilation technician and fitter.
Student Apprenticeships
Our student apprenticeships include an ONC or an HNC in Building Services or Building Studies. Combining college work with hands on site experience, this structured training programme will lead to CIBSE accreditation.
