David Parker Group Executive Director EMCOR Facilities Services

David has over 25 years experience in the mechanical and electrical industry operating within the facilities, construction and electrical security sectors. After joining EMCOR in 1983 as an electrical engineer, he quickly progressed into contract management. Over the past 10 years, David has held senior positions for a number of divisions within EMCOR and is now responsible for Specialist Services – a part of EMCOR Facilities Services that provides technical support through its four operating units: Fire & Security, Asset Maintenance, Communications and Project Delivery. He has successfully identified, procured and implemented sophisticated electronic systems to maximise our customer service offering and boost performance. He believes that advanced technology is a key part of service delivery.

David also has recently assumed responsibility for EMCOR's energy services to ensure that the company continues to provide valuable energy solutions for its customers.

David believes that effective teams are a fundamental ingredient for any high performing business to deliver exceptional results for its customers. These results can be achieved by encouraging personal development and innovative thinking. In David’s view, nothing beats the feeling of creating a successful team and giving them the opportunity to see how performing well as a unit can be hugely rewarding and motivating.

David has two daughters and is an avid sportsman. He enjoys playing football, golf and skiing. He also owns a vintage Vespa and can often be seen fixing it at the side of the road.
