Health and Safety
EMCOR's commitment to health and safety underpins all its workplace practices. That's why our safety performance is substantially better than the national average.
EMCOR was Highly Commended for the Engineering Construction sector and awarded four Gold Medal Awards and two Gold Awards at the 2007 RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Occupational Health and Safety Awards.
EMCOR Facilities Services was also awarded the "International Safety Award" for its competence in health and safety in 2006 from The British Safety Council.
A specific initiative that has contributed to EMCOR’s award success includes behavioural safety training which builds on the Company’s Zero Accident Programme (ZAP) by raising awareness to health and safety through personal behaviour.
